Exercise Type: Elliptical

Veronica only let me run a lap around the block and then elliptical or bike (she said she was giving me options! ;/ ). So I ran for 6 minutes and then hung out with Grace (who's racing monday, I'm so so happy for her!!!) until ellipticals opened up. Ellipticalled for 30 minutes with her and Abby for some of the time and played 2048 because I was super bored and it's like the only app I have. I'm terrible at it though, and all I needed to get to 2048 was one more 256 when I died. :'(

I shouldn't be complaining, but I think I will anyway because what's running-log for after all right? I just want to be back running so badly, but at the same time, cross training is so much easier, so I don't always feel like running. And then I feel like I'm psyching myself out of running because I'm being lazy and tired. Especially at the beginning of the season, I think I cross trained way too much because I was so scared of getting fully injured, but it really doesn't matter if I'm fully injured or not because I've barely been running the past month, and if I'd been fully injured and taken time off, I would probably be running now. Not to say that I want to be injured at all--I just feel like I shouldn't have been so conservative at the beginning of the season, and I should have run more and enjoyed it while I could.

As you can probably tell from that whole last paragraph, I don't think it's been a very good season which I'm really sad about because there are only 12 of them with the team, and I feel like I kinda just wasted one. That makes me very very sad because I'm already almost done with 3/12 and I feel like I just started, so that just shows how quickly it will go by and that's so scary. Anyway, Anthony gave me a small pep talk about the meet at the end of practice which helped slightly, but I'm still very frustrated. Sorry for the extremely long log. I think I use it too much like a diary sometimes. :)
