I ran a couple of steps yesterday and my shins were feeling pretty bad so I just cross trained today, which was a shame because it was a really beautiful day and I finished practice before everyone got back from their runs. I always feel like a slacker when I leave before everyone else.
planning on doing my workout tomorrow. even though I won't be racing a mile or a 2 mile at DC states, I'm going to do the mile workout because I was planning on doing a mile time trial anyways. It probably won't be good since I'll be alone, but that's ok.
really glad the girls team decided to go for the win at dc states, even though that means I'll probably do a random event. We're one of the better girls teams in gds history, if not one of the best. we didn't get a banner but we can at leat get sweatshirts.
