18 miles!!!????????????No pickups, no workout. Just a steady long endurance run in the heat. I am not as much concerned about pace as I am about you finishing and feeling like you could have maybe gone a little faster;)

ok..did it. felt slow/weak at the beginning..sped up a little bit around mile 5 and held a steady pace through most of the run afterwards. Felt ok at the end, but not sure I had much of a kick left. also, it was not too hot, but fairly humid.

overall pace was 8:55 with the fastest being mile 9: 8:10 pace and the slowest was mile 1/2: 10:49 and 10:14 respectively. last three miles were: 8:47, 8:42, 9:00.
