Longish Run

I ran at around 1 so it was crazy hot, at the school it said 93. Hannah really wanted to go swimming so I ran out to East Shore and she met me there on bike. At first I felt like I was going a little fast so I looked at my watch and it said 7:20, oops. I "slowed it down" so my first two miles we like 7:45 pace. My legs felt like lead and I was breathing really heavily but I felt so good. I actually felt worse when I went slowly and when I was going fast it didn't feel like it. Usually when I run by myself my brain just won't shut up but it was nice because I wasn't thinking about anything or worrying about form or regretting what I did or didn't do in my races yesterday, I was just running. The lake was really cold! I ran back and I kept it slower at first but my last mile was 7:45 again.
