Forgot how nice it is running in this direction. I feel like we just haven't been doing enough hills lately. That's gonna change in XC, where we are gonna do hills on almost every run. Either way really enjoyed this run, however my calves were pretty tight coming up the second hill. I sort of just pushed through it then stretched them at the top at the Y. I don't know why this happens a lot to me. My calves just get tight/sore at some points. Maybe I need to do more strengthening things for my calves in the off season like calf raises. We got back and decided not to lift today. I was thinking that adding some Aqua jogging along with my running would help this summer even if it's only 1-2 times a week. It's non-impact and a great aerobic workout.
