Hard hills but good hills

Comments:
We had a pretty hard hill workout today. 11x the long hill with a downhil accleration on the way back down. The time and mileage for this are estimates because I forgot to start my watch for one uphill repeat and coach said the course was only 8800 meters total and I think its quite a bit longer than that. At the beginning I wasn't to hopeful that this workout would be a good one because my leags felt really heavy all day and I just felt overall tired. But about the third or fourth repeat I was able to pick it up and run with the top group which was encouraging. Hopefully this gets me stronger for the middle miles of the race so I can hang towards the front of group two and finnish well at Calvin. I felt kinda bad because I pushed hard finnishing the last one and probably should have run the first few with the top group instead of pushing out that last one. The downhill felt great to be able to streach out my legs and really get moving although the footing in some parts wasn't great. But no one got hurt so its all good.
