When you do it right it hurts so much worse

Exercise Type: Weights

So Coach told me I was doing the weight workouts wrong. And boy when you do it right this workout is a bear. It just beats on you. My quads especially just burned the whole time and not having much rest compounded the hurt. I tried to hurry but I still think I took too much time between exercises. I'll have to work on that next week. The workout was good and I can definitly see how it'll help for running the mile and stuff later. I'm hoping this leg strength will help a lot for those last laps. And espcially pushing through those last sets.

3 sets of 3 circuts of all exercises in the set in order.
Set 1
Walking Lunge w/ DB x15 steps ( I did fifteen each leg with 20 in each hand. Definitly tough)

MB Pushups x 5 right and 5 left (Same as last week)

Lateral Step up x 10 (Asked Coach about these and got down the form, like a one legged squat, Coacu Rubin corrected me told me to slow down)

Row Ups x 10(Moved to row ups to try to get all the reps. This way I don't have to max pullups all the time. Stil tough though)

Set 2
DB Sholder Lateral Raise x 20 (Started with 10 in each hand then moved to 5 on the last set cuz it was too tough. I wish they had 8lb DB)

Single Leg lunge w/ 1 foot on bench (20 in each hand. Probaby the one exercise I despise the most)

Bench dips x 10 (Did bench dips today cuz I was getting used to the new workout format. I'll probaby try Bar dips the next time to see how I do)

Burpee x 10 (Always suck ending with these always makes me feel extra winded)

General Comments: Probably the hardest workout I've done in a long time. I was wrong to say some of the exercises were easy last week.
