Weather: Beautiful, sunny, 70, light breeze in usual spots
Comments:
Ran alone around 6:30pm rather than with the Brant Point Runners at 5:30. Winner ran 19:30 or so, I learned later. (I'd also watched them go past when I was riding bikes with the girls.) Pace built naturally as I loosened up. ~7:45, ~7:30, 7:19, ~7:05 (29:54). Logging this a few days later, i can safely say that I was tired and achy for the next few days as a result. Still, It was nice to know I could dip below 30 minutes for the standard four mile loop without too much effort even in early summer out of shape status.
