Cross training

Today was my off day but I wanted to get a little work in. Went to the gym around 10:15 pm and cranked out a good 40 minutes of biking. Went pretty quick for myself, but I don't know how Noah does it. Got in about 14 miles. I tried to keep the pace consistent but at some points I just picked it up because I was listening to some music that was pumping me up. Tully runners released some preseason rankings. I was 10th in the state overall and 8th in class A. Not happy or mad at these rankings mainly just don't care. Like I was telling Neil and Silas rankings really don't mean shit, results are the only thing that matters. And obviously I want to be one of the best in the state as my individual goal but I'm thinking really team minded goals this year. I want to be one of the best in the state to give our team the low stick we need. I believe I have a shot at being the best in the state as there's not much separation between 1 and 10 in the state right now. I just gotta work my butt off. Getting that 1 point would be extremely helpful in races like Manhatten, regionals, or Feds where it's so densely packed. The rest of our team was underrated, like we always are it seems we can't win with Bill Meylan so we're gonna have to show him up during cross. Like I told Neil and Silas they should both easily be top 20 in the state and Ian should be top 50 easily. But expectations are meant to be surpassed so that's what we're gonna do. Finished that day with stretching I'll be up early for another run tomorrow.
