Today's run felt really good. My shin splints are still bothering me a little bit, but nothing to complain about. Today I just felt like I could run for miles. The run felt so short and we ran it pretty quickly too. Our group got back so quickly that we had to run for a little longer on the canal than we were supposed to. That feeling was a feeling I never thought I'd accomplish. Honestly, when I was younger and would watch my brother run in the cross country races and hear about his work outs, I thought I'd die if I did that. I feel so accomplished now because I CAN do it and I LOVE doing it. Its a most excellent feeling and I hope I never get rid of it! Thank you Rusty, Bryce, and Liz for being such amazing and inspirational coaches. If it werent' for you guys, cross country wouldn't be half as fun. You guys are the best.
