Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Run felt great. Better than I've felt in a long time. Besides the bee sting from yesterday being very itchy everything felt normal to me. Took the team out for a warmup that was on some new trails the guys haven't been on before. I purposely didn't tell them where to go so they would be forced to keep it easy at my pace. Tried to keep it fairly flat but there was a few small hills in there. It just felt great to get back to running with the guys. It's something that I've been missing lately. I'm missing my favorite time of the year but I gotta be there for the team when it matters most. Finished at the plantations and just cheered on the guys as they did the workout. There was some great pack running, every guy out there stepped up in their own right and it looked like they were having fun which is the most important part. Jogged back to the track for my cooldown and they all seemed really out of breath. Did some very tough abs, hips, and stretching to finish up. Then I did my Achilles excercises at home.
