Comments:
Good to be back running with the top group even if it was for only the first 1.5 miles. I kept right up and the Achilles felt fine. About 2 miles in I was wondering whether running on the grass on the pavement would be better for my Achilles. The pavement is more pounding but the grass makes my Achilles have to work harder because there is more give. I felt a little bit of pulling from my Achilles in the middle on the way back from the commons but once I got into the trails in the bird sanctuary it felt much better. Got back and was there alone so I got a jumpstart on my abs and hips. I did them both before the guys got back so I just stretched while they did their drills and stuff. Did Achilles excercises after. On another note the Achilles felt fine but I got stung by three bees because I was stupidly standing on their nest. It hurt like crazy at first but now it itches like crazy, it was on the same foot as the Achilles.
