Fun run

Got to practice not knowing if I could run very far. I did a bunch of stretching beforehand to make my IT band as loose as possible. The problem is that it's so on and off that I can't really control it. I had to run before practice because Kyle from milesplit was taking videos. The lap around the infield didn't feel too well but after I did drills it felt a lot looser and I didn't even feel it. We took some videos and pictures then did the interview and everything went well then took off. On the run the pace started off pretty easy so I was able to stick with the varsity guys. My IT band wasn't feeling the best but then I pushed through it. About 1.5 miles in all the pain went away. It felt good until about a quarter mile back when I stopped to walk up some strairs and once I got to the top I couldn't really run that well because I hurt to do so so I walked it in. Stretched and rolled afterwards. I'll see about tomorrow, it's still really swollen I might try drills beforehand to loosen it up.
