Cardio Day

September 16, 2009 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: cooler than usual... PERFECT running weather! 65F

Comments:
So Steph's boyfriend is in town... so she didn't want to workout with me today. So I did cardio because I hate lifting alone. So I ran to the rec, ran 3.14 miles on the treadmill, pushing the pace up to 6.5 mph for the last half mile to see if I could (I could... but my heartrate when I stopped was 220 so I'm thinking that was pushing it just a little bit?) and then walked a little bit after that to let my legs get used to the pace. (Made the mistake Sunday of getting right off the treadmill after going 5.8 mph...and almost fell over). Ran back to my apartment/house/thing and promptly logged it =D

I didn't start getting tired until I had my total up to 4... then my legs started dragging. I figure by next Saturday I ought to be able to make the whole 10k just fine, especially with all the people cheering!
