having had enough of tempo workouts in the past week or so, I decided to try one of the faster ones that I hadn't done all summer because of my knee. I did 4x1min at 3k with 90 second recovery. It's kind of like a fartlek type thing. I started at my house and finished at school (2 feet lower in elevation, sorry Abby) so that I could pick up the car that my mom had left there. The intervals tired me out more than I expected and the second half was pretty heavy-legged and crampy. finished up with a lap around the block. It felt weird to be running at school without the team. stretched after by the sprint track.
