RTB leg 3

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Sunny and cool

Comments:
Woke up at the condo feeling great. Two hours sleep was wonderful. Ate one slice of leftover pizza from dinner and no more. Tired of having issues with stomach cramps and would rather run a bit hungry.

Legs felt like lead at the start, despite feeling awake. Van 2 took the reflective vest about a mile in because it was after 7 am and way too bright to need it. That helped give some energy back, as Matt had put it on a little too tight.

Gutted it out up the hill to get to the halfway point and then tried to work the downhill. Leaned in and the speed felt good. Something happened to one of my toes around here (too much banging into the front of the shoe) and I needed to step a little more carefully from there on out. Would have loved some mile markers, because I waited too long to turn it up for the finish. Not bad all in all, but now I really want one of those Garmin watches
