Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Oof. A quality workout, my splits were better than expected, maybe a little too fast, but I don't remember how to race or run fast in general. On the first 8, I felt like we were going out a little too fast, but I kept pace. On the second, the times were similar, but I got used to the pace and settled in fairly well. I had a mild cramp, though. My third 8 was almost like a tempo effort compared to the others. We believed that we had been going too fast, so we slowed it down quite a bit, but it felt more like a recovery pickup than a sub-5k race pace effort. All-around, I felt pretty good and fast, so that was definitely a positive. Worryingly, I have a slight pain in my lower shin(tibia) that might be concerning. It's probably nothing, but I will take a light day tomorrow or x-train just in case. Also, I've basically done 80 percent of last weeks mileage so far this week, so I need a lighter day anyway.
