Not all that interesting. Ran with a group of people who I don't usually run with, something I always enjoyed. I tried to keep the pace mellow as to not aggravate my shin, but the pace dropped to sub-8 on Wisconsin and eventually close to 7:20 as we neared the 42nd street doors. If you have run with me in recent weeks, you will know that I have a growing dislike of pace-pushing and that I believe that it should only be done when there is no reason not to do so. My shin was more than enough reason to hold off on a pacey run. In the end, the pace averages out to north of 8, but the latter half of the run was very quick. However, I had no breathing problems going 7:35 or quicker, which is probably a good thing.
