THE RUN I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

I RAN WITH JENNY TODAY AND IT ACTUALLY FELT SO GOOD! I THINK THIS WAS THE RUN I'VE BEEN HOPING FOR ALL THE TIMES I'VE RANTED ABOUT BEING UNMOTIVATED. I DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO GO AT FIRST BECAUSE I WAS STILL A BIT CONGESTED, BUT I WENT OUT THINKING I'D JUST TRY HALF A MILE TO SEE HOW I FELT AND I JUST KEPT GOING BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH JENNY. WE TURNED BACK WHEN WE HIT UPTON AND PROBABLY WENT BACK A BIT SLOWER BECAUSE THE WAY OUT WAS PRETTY FAST. (I'll stop being super excited now because the uppercase is annoying me:) ) My shins didn't hurt at all the whole run, and I didn't even feel that tired, though by the end I was rasping a bit from cold congestion. I'm really glad I was able to do a run that I felt good about and that Jenny did it with me because it made it a lot more fun! When I got back I went to the weight room and did 2 sets of: Pike tuck leg lifts (10), Inverted sit ups (10), bi/tricep pull downs (10, 40lb), Arm swings (60 per side, 2 lb weights because it was that or 10 lbs). also did crunch progression (30 seconds) and pushup progression (3*1) during practice.
