Beckett to Oakcrest w/ Rhythm 2s

Started out slow again today, even though my effort level felt good. Went up Remington, but by the time I got up Beckett, I didn't see where the rest of the guys went. I wasn't aware that I was supposed to come back down Beckett. Instead, I went onto the short trail that goes to the mall parking lots. Asked some people that were hanging out, smoking, if they had seen a group of runners. They pointed me towards the highway, but about a minute after asking them, I realized that I shouldn't be so trusting sometimes. They were clearly messing with me. I still ran around the mall area and ended up doing a reverse Oakcrest. Well, I am behind on mileage, so it feels good to do extra, but not be behind so much. Anyway, got back and did my Rhythm 200s by myself; I felt a little faster on them. Then did hurdles, drills, and strides. Talked to Coach about why I've been falling behind so much. Possibly because I've been unable to run some days because I haven't been feeling. However, I did look at my log and noticed that I've only missed maybe a little under ten practices in September and October, so I'm not sure whether that's enough to significantly affect my training. I do know Coach has his reasons for every mile of each week, so there's probably some effect of my lack of mileage. Happy to have no school tomorrow, and catch up on some sleep. Will run though.
