Did 32 push-ups and some plyometrics beforehand.
I thought about doing a real workout, with intervals, spikes, and a course and all, but the snow on the grass would've made it very unpleasant. Instead, I decided to just do a shorter run with some faster running. I kind of decided what to do while I ran. Took it out from my dad's house in Dryden, and did a first mile that was a little quicker than my average mile on a longer run. Then I did the second mile significantly faster. I was aiming to do a sub-7 mile, but I hit a mini hill and it slowed me down a bit. Still, I should be able to run that fast easily if I'm to have a good season in the spring. I then did two minutes of just easy running, then decided to go fast for a quarter-mile, then do a cooldown from then on. Yes, I know my definition of "fast" is actually pretty slow, but my effort felt good. That's what matters, right? Got back and did some stretching, core, and lifting.
