wow.
what a day.
I've gone from feeling amazing, to feeling absolutely terrible.
I was so so so positive for the first 2 miles.
I felt amazing.
I had a lot of fun
3rd mile, the heat really got to me.
1st mile, time was like 8:24..felt great. Knew I could keep the pace I had, and have an even better one.
2nd mile-felt great for the most part, I realized how fast the race was going.
3rd mile-lost a lot of my inspiration. but i still ran decently strong.
As i was finishing up the last 150, i had this group of 4 girls in front of me.
I almost had them I really did..then I got weird footing on a bump and tripped and couldnt recover fast enough to beat all 4, but I beat 2.
ha.
I felt terrible after this race. I couldnt walk without support for about 5 minutse and the heat reallly got to me. I got a terrible headache and just felt weak.
I felt like I had a good race.
Until I got home.
Enough said.
What I did good was being positive, and just sticking with it when I wasnt feeling so positive.
What I really couldve done better was not tripping at the end, pushing it sooner, and just pushing it more in general in the race.
Season PR by a minute and a second, ha.
