Salt Road

January 20, 2017 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: That is, the Salt Road in Dryden, not a historic salt road (low 40s)

Comments:
That bad race last Sunday has definitely motivated me more this week. I'm not sure whether I'll race again this Sunday, but I decided to get my long run in tonight as opposed to tomorrow just in case I do. Ran from my dad's house in Dryden. It was completely dark the whole time, and rather boring running along the country roads. Even though there weren't many cars, the ones that passed me often did not turn down their high beams, despite my attempts to show that my entire field of vision was being blinded by waving my hands in front of my face. The pace felt good. I took it rather easy, partly because it was a longer run, and because I wasn't feeling well earlier today and missed school. I felt like turning back home after about two miles, but made myself continue and eventually the fatigue went away and it felt more comfortable. Got back and did some stretching, and 30 push-ups.

I'm pretty sure this was my tenth time running over ten miles, although twice I've run over 15 (16 miles and 20 miles).

On to tomorrow.

Update: I'm not even that tired.
