Comments:
After asking the team to be independent, I slipped away to do my annual rushed workout on the Cathcart Track at The Flippin Fieldhouse. Ran 3 miles plus half-mile cooldown. Each 800m, I took a split. Accelerated each 800 for the first two miles, took one 800 at a brisk recovery clip, and then finished hard before the 800 cool down.

Jumped in a quick shower and coached an eager team. Pleased, all in all, with how smooth it felt. Nice to break a sweat and the final 3200 (11:45?) was, I think, faster than I ran at Hoxton as a hs freshman.
