I think we need to take this race knowing you are still getting back into things after the hike, but yet still keep in mind Donna S 10k right before the hike.
On a good day, I really think you could come close to 22 or breaking it, so do not limit yourself but also keep in mind where you are coming from.
Your first 3 miles in Donna were about 7:15 pace, so I think you can go out out in a 7:00 to 7:15 depending on hills and still feel comfortable to speed up after ward or at least increase effort! The weather should be pretty cool too, so knowing that this is only 3 miles, you might as well put yourself out there and do what you can!!!
