Down to the CCT

Not for long. Felt basically perfect until I got on the CCT, then calves/ shin muscle started hurting. Got off trail and felt a little better, but not much. Am considering the possibility that the CCT is affecting my lower leg muscles more than a normal road. Doesn't make sense, but more often than not, my shins/calves hurt on the CCT. Also my shoes were retired for a good reason, and I'll get the new ones tomorrow. Also, the shin bone pain that I had been experiencing was such a non-issue today that I think I should be good to go for Tuesday at Sidwell.
