Long run

Exercise Type: Run

*seeing you are racing on sat.
This may be better to just do an easy 12 and get some aerobic recovery running in. But feel it out. If feeling, you may as well shoot for the times that I originally put in there;)


Looking for 12 quality miles as follows:
First 3 easy pace
2nd 3 miles pick it up to tempo pace anywhere between 7:30 and 8:15 would be ideal
3rd 3 miles back down easy pace again
Last 3 miles see what you can do!
(If you can get back to that tempo pace again, that would be great)

The idea of the whole run is to get in a long harder type effort with varying paces, so don't start out too fast!!;)

did 12 .. first 3 miles 10 min pace, next 3 were 8:15 pace, next 3 miles 10 min pace, last 3 at 9:30 pace. Did not have much left at the end.
