Staying in NYC for 4+ days. Leah is trying to get in a few runs over spring break. She ran with me at an easy pace down through Riverside Park to the cinder track past the boat slips. We paused and stretched and then twice ran a brisk lap around that odd little track. 58 seconds and then 56 seconds. Then we did a 40 meter race walk and then a 40 meter stride. The run back featured more walking than I would have liked, but she made it and we ran up the steps form the dog park to Riverside and then we got off the elevator at the 7th floor and ran the final 5 flights of stairs?! Aware of the achilles on the second half, but no real trouble from it.
