I had to take the ACT yesterday morning so I couldn't go to the meet which was too bad cause I wanted to watch. I was working on the track spreads for the yearbook for like 5 or 6 hours when I got back from the ACT and then 4 more hours this morning but the girls spread looks dope so all that time was totally worth it. The entire yearbook is due in like 5 days so it had to be done eventually. At one point this afternoon I was about to do another 700 hours or something of work on the spreads (I actually love working on them, like really) but I forced myself to go on the short run instead. The weather was really nice, probably the best I've run in all year. Tomorrow I can go 6 miles max, but I'm somewhat hesitant because increasing my long runs from 5 to 6 miles just seems like it's on a totally different level than going from 3 to 4 or 4 to 5. I guess I'll just see how I feel. I'm totally down for doing short workouts now because the sooner I start completing workouts, the sooner I can compete.
