Burnt Out and Tapering

Comments:
Today I did a workout. I took 2 days off from running because I was busy and I'm honestly feeling a bit burnt out. This worries me a bit because I'm shooting for the club 1500m record on Saturday and really want to get it.

I did 2x1 mile repeats with 2 min rest on River trail followed by 2x200m. I was supposed to 6 200s but just was not feeling it at all. I went too hard on the miles and they felt harder than they should've. For the 200s, I was hitting 31s but my legs and back felt mehhh so I decided to stop since i'm trying to taper for Hillsdale.

Overall, I hope I start to feel better by Saturday. I can happily end my track season if I get this record. I have a lot of school work this week, but with some easy days I should be good to go for Saturday... hopefully.
