Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I know it's tough to get these type of workouts in but I lmk out it in anyway just case your feeling peppy this wed.
You could always do this in morning b4 run club as it's pretty short:
Warm up .5 miles easy...
Run .75 miles at tempo pace(8 pace or close to it if I had to guess) , jog .25 miles easy
Which equals 1 mile.
Let's do a total of 3 miles of this
As far as paces which will largely depend on heat, I think if you stick between 8 and 8:15 Pace for the .75 "on" you will be good to go for all 3.
Cooldown .5 miles to 1 mile easy for miealge..
But again, the idea is to run at a pretty hard effort for 3/4 of a mile, and then back down for a 1/4.
BUT I am not looking for this to be a true all out speed session bc I want the .75 to be at a pace that when you are done you can still move along pretty well for the .25 mile.

6 miles at 9:15 pace
5 miles with some intervals... it was cool. 8:15 overall pace, but ended up doing 6:50 on last mile (mostly down hill)
