Honestly I dreaded this workout all week. Maybe it was just the sheer fact that 7 miles is a long way to tempo or that I had only ever gone 5 before and that was only once. But in reality it went way better than I thought. The stradgey was probably good. Me and Cromer started out with a couple miles just over six minnute pace and then turned it on for the last five miles. That worked really well. I felt so comfortable running at 6 minnute pace. It was nice just to ease into it. The wind along the lake was horrible but since the first two miles were at that slower pace we were still able to pick it up going into the wind. Nick and Ethan T stayed with us into mile 5 and then me and Cromer were on our own. After the turn around with the wind with us we flew which was really nice to see a 5:35 pop up on my watch. I struggled a little bit in the final mile and a half to two miles but I was still able to finnish strong and my heart rate wasn't high at all. Afterward we went down to the track and did 200 acclerations with a 200 jog, Me and Brian Link were together and it wasn't too hard to feel pretty smooth. After the Coach Lenese circut. My legs are shot now. Definitly ice bath tomorrow noon ish. And my arms are shot too from Coach's circut thing. All in all a solid confidence boosting workout for me. My heart rate was down too at the end and I ran well the whole time.

Heart rate after workout: in the 160's we weren't very accurate taking it after ward. But definitly not that high.
