This run succcckkkked! I mean I ran it fine, but boy did it hurt. The heat was scorching and my legs felt like lead from yesterday's long run.
I took a different route than usual. I turned into a neighborhood before going to the typical Abbot trail out and back. I took a sporadic route that led me through a neighborhood and back to Grand River. Then I looped went back in the neighborhood and made the run 5 miles. In the neighborhood, there were a lot of sprinklers so I ran through as many as I could, because outside SUCKEEDDD. Overall, it felt horrible but I got the miles needed for this week.
Also this is my easier week, since I've been increasing for 4 weeks. I'm moving back to 45 miles per week and then after that I'm probably going to do 3 weeks of 55s. I'm doing my first race back this Saturday. I found a free 5k in Lansing, so i'm pretty hyped to see what I can run early in this season.
