Workout on treadmill - 5K for time

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Nice / indoors. Weather outside was storming

Comments:
The FF workout was cancelled due to the storm. The plan was to do a 5K time trial so I decided to do it at the gym.
I ran 1.5 warmup (12:00) then continued immediately and did the 5K (3.1 miles) for time (19:56). I started out with 6:35 pace for the first mile then got a bit faster after that. I took a short walking break, a couple minutes, then did a 1.4 mile cooldown.
Afterwards I did the 60 minute Pilates class starting at 7:30. It was my first time doing Pilates since college. The hip flexor stuff was really difficult for me, particularly on my left side / left hip. There was a cute guy in my class and he looked familiar to me. After the class, he said hello and started talking to me. His name was Jon. He had to get his shoes from downstairs and he asked if I'd wait for him so we could continue talking. I had to go down to the locker room also, so when I came back upstairs, we continued talking as we walked outside. After talking a bit, he asked what I was up to. I told him I was going to get something to eat. He asked where I was thinking. I told him I had good at home but I was thinking of getting a salad at potbelly. He said something along the lines of that sounding good, let's go there. He said something like we could keep talking there or he could get my number and let me be. I told him that he could of course come to potbelly but I knew it wasn't the most exciting place. He said yeah! So we went to potbelly, and I ordered a salad and he ordered an Oreo shake (switching it to chocolate Oreo when I simply made a comment). We sat outside and talked some more, & I learned that he moved back to Chicago after living in Colorado for 8 years. I also learned that he is a talented artist (arcane_beast on instagram) & he showed me some of his work. He is also into yoga and meditation, & he worked at a resort hotel in the mountains out in CO. He also plays strong instruments and harmonica. He got my number at the end and he gave me a hug goodbye. I hope to hear from him. :)
