June 22, 2017 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: HOT AF 100 deg's
Comments:
Went and got Stella's Birth Certificate at the Placer County Dept of Health and Human Services in Auburn and it worked out well to do a run down in the confluence. So hot man. Thank goodness I brought water even though I wasn't going to be running for long.
Mostly hiked up K2 - which felt great - a 19min ascent which isn't too shabby just hiking. When prepping for Shasta, I think I did a 23min ascent just hiking. Once at the top it was blazing. Took it easy and once I hit the shade on the descent to No Hands things became a little easier. Body felt good and once I was done, I was done. The heat is just brutal. 110 deg's today. Cray.
