A Most Excellent Race

Comments:
I'm not calling it that, that's the name of the race. I got first in my age group so that's something lol. It's a little rough knowing how out of shape I am, but I am happy with my race strategy and effort. First half was all downhill, so my first mile was 7:10. Second mile was uphill and I slowed down to 7:40. Third mile was mostly uphill but ended downhill, so the last mile was faster than the second and I am happy for that. Next race is in two weeks so I'm hoping to be a good deal faster.
