Weather: 80s and moderate humidity, some breeze, clouds moving in
Comments:
Biked to and from GDS for sprint practice and did a few hurdle walk overs and a shot put attempt with William Goldberg. Feeling very tight, lazy, and the chest was giving me trouble, so I didn't lift. Ended up driving to STA and ran with a mellow group on flattish loop down around Guy Mason and back with some extra zig zags to stretch it to 20 minutes. took a couple of brief stretches and then ran again with Abigail H as she wasn't able to make it to the start of practice. Maybe it was just the contrast, but the pace felt very peppy and we ran Wisc to Vann Ness to Mass with one brief pause near the crest at Ward. Tried to dial it back a bit after that, but it built again and this was definitely a more intense run than I've done since getting back to DC 10 days ago. That run was likely just under 4 miles and nearly 31 minutes.
