Decided I would start following the training plan that Lucas posted. I ran down to the reservoir and did 2x(8x200) around there because that is literally the only place around here that is flat and uninterrupted by traffic. I didn't keep track of what my specific times were for the intervals and I really didn't care since this was my first time doing any speed work in a very long time.
I had to take an emergency shit about halfway through (after the first set I did a mile jog) and THANK JACK DANIELS I spotted a biff across a nearby field about a quarter mile away. It was heaven. I would have had to walk like 2 miles home otherwise - there was no way I could keep on running without emptying myself lol.
