I'm calling it seven

July 14, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Awful for 6am, humid, low 80s

Comments:
Ran down Reno to current rendezvous at Fessenden. Legs felt decent after an aggressive roll last night, but once the run got going, I could tell the long day yesterday in the heat had wiped me out. Maybe it is poor air quality too, but breathing is labored up every hill. Rob, Jesse, Sam and Jackson Todd! Were all good company. Pace was brisker than usual or I was just tired. Reno to newly opened Klingle valley trail! Up past Klingle mansion on trails to Adas and back via Connecticut with a fruitless stop at the dry water fountains at Forest Hills. Struggled from her onwards and split from group at Reno and Davenport. Last mile home was a slog and just focused on keeping the legs moving, but last 1/2 mile might have been sub 8 pace if my math was right? Didn't feel faster than 9:00. Either way, as much of the run felt fast, I'm ambitiously calling it 7. Couldn't have done it without company. Lost 4 lbs on the run. Pretty sure I went into it having already gotten dehydrated yesterday. Full body is beat today. Think I'll skip afternoon run at practice in favor of a short run tomorrow.
