Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Rhianna met me at my house as soon as I got home and we did (as always) our night loop. We aren't very creative so we seem to end up doing either the night loop or the park every time we run together. She agreed to do my 25-35 min steady state with me, so after like 6 min of warmup (for me) we did 25 min of steady state. Left it at 25 because otherwise Rhianna wouldn't have time to cool down. I can't say I particularly wanted to do more either. We had to stop a couple times for lights and I had to take another puff of my inhaler. Breathing was restricted but not horrible. I felt ok, though the one small hill was harder than it should have been. I mapped it and we did about a 5k in the 25 min, so it was just barely over 8 min pace. That section of the run also happened to be net downhill. So overall fine, didn't feel as amazing as last weeks workoiut, but not bad either. Workouts have generally been loads better than last summer, which is nice. Last week I had the breathing sorted out, which just makes a huge difference.
