Boston Triathlon Bike

July 30, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Bike

Comments:
Alright listen up I got a lot to say about this. First off, biking fucking sucks and I am not going to miss it.

But first, let me talk about my transition from the swim to the bike. I don't know wtf other people are doing because my transition time was a minute slower than a lot of the faster guys. I mean yeah I had a slight struggle to get my wetsuit off, but nothing that would have taken a minute. It's not like I am sitting down and taking a little break for recovery. No, I am active the entire time in transition so I really don't know what I can do more to be faster here.

OK so this bike course was kinda weird. There were 4 laps, and each lap there were 3 "no pass zones" where if you were stuck behind someone going a lot slower than you (which happened every time), you were SOL unless you wanted to get disqualified. There were also 2 180-degree turns that sucked. I'm happy my brakes worked today because they were having some issues earlier this week. Even with this course, this was still the fastest speed I have averaged on the bike in a race so I'm proud of that.

I wasn't saving anything for the run. I was trying to empty my tank as much as my body would let me on this leg.
