Ok looking for a harder type workout today my friend...
Hoping you feel ok coming off weekend..
Warm up .5 miles easy ...
Stop stretch etc.
Run 800m(.5 miles) fast...I think a good goal for right now in this heat would be to hit a time of around 5:15 to 5:45.
You are not on a track and it is hot these days so times will certainly vary with conditions but the idea is to really hit these half miles.
Take a complete 2 min walk
Let's do 4 x 800's(.5 miles)

Ok Pezz.... did my warm up, stopped to stretch for a count of 15-20 each leg (note I stretched out this morning before I left too). Then took to the .5 mile run/ 2 min walk. I gave you my splits, even the estimated 2 minute walk. I believe I understood I was to repeat those 4x....so I did. stretched a wee bit... Then I took a mile to "cool down". I walked and jogged. Rotated it to almost a .10/.10 switch off on the Garmin. It was a slow jog
I will be honest, I had to switch in to heels for the event last night, and albeit only an hour and half, AND me stretching for 20 minutes last night, I was sore a bit throughout the night... I ALMOST gave up this morning and didn't get up and go....but I refused. I am a bit sore when I stand up to walk BUT I WORE COMFY CROC flip flops to my office today, supportive. :) Accupuncture tonight.....and I had a bit of Gatorade diluted in my water this morning, and I'll drink some coconut water today too, as I was saturated at the end of this routine.
