The Last Man in the Gunson Burner

Well, all of my housemates and temporary housemates have abandoned me for the weekend, leaving me to be the last man left in the Gunson........ woah.

Anyways, today my workout was 3 mile warmup, 5x800 at R pace with 800m jog, and 3 mile cooldown. I did this at EL high school, because I didn't feel like figuring out an 800m loop. For my warmup, I got to the track and decided i wanted to do the workout in Spikes so I went back to Gunson, got my spikes, and took an extended route to make it 3 miles.

For the workout, my first two reps were kind of slow. My goal was 2:26, since that was technically my 800m R pace. I was 2:27 and 2:29 (RIP) for the first 2, but got down to 2:26, 2:26, and 2:21 (Also RIP) for the last. I decided to go a tad bit harder on the last one, just to even everything out lol.

Overall, the workout felt good. My legs are a bit tired and my cool down pace was ass (Also for reference, I cooled down 2 miles on the track and 1 mile home), but that doesn't really matter. Looks like I'm gonna get 60 miles for the 3rd week in a row. Still feeling pretty good, despite some tiredness, so bring on the miles!
