Comments:
we had our first practice with most of the team this morning. a few people still aren't here yet but most of the team is back on campus. it was nice to see everyone and to know that my training is scheduled for me for the next few months. workout itself was actually pretty crappy. I did something weird to my hamstrings while doing lunges in the warmup and I had some cramps. I also forgot to take my inhaler until after the first hill and could not breathe well at all. we did 3 hills (about 2 min) and then what was going to be a 15 min tempo, but I cut it short to 11 because I wasn't breathing well. hills i think were meant to be 5k effort, but they turned out to be faster than my 5k pr pace. hills were ok and then tempo was just rough because I couldn't breathe how I wanted to. not exactly how I wanted to start the season out, but that's ok.
