Tempo running

This can be done Monday or Tuesday..

Thursday will not be hard at all with race , so this one is our day to get some work in!

Warm up with .5 miles easy jog

Run 2x2 miles fast at tempo pace with full recovery in between..

So for the 2 miles at tempo pace, its not like fast intervals on the track...maybe close to 8 pace for you right now if I had to guess. It's a comfortably hard effort if that makes sense!

Take full and complete 4 min rest...

Then do it again!!
2 mikes at tempo trying to keep a steady pace that is faster than easy pace but certainly not all out!

Total miealage for the day is 4.5

Obviously weather, terrain, hills etc. will all play a factor, so effort is most important!!;)
