Comments:
Out to vermillion for a team triathlon for which I was the runner! I had never seen a tri take place before so it was definitely cool to watch and I had some significant appreciation for what it takes to do one of these.
As a team, we were third in the co-ed rankings and did well! My run was good. My miles were 5:34, 36, and 28. With it being so short, it was hard to gauge fitness. It did not feel incredibly relaxed, but the rolling start on wood chips didn't make it too easy to settle in either. So, making any conclusions about my Akron goals was difficult. I was hoping for a 10K but that's alright. This was a fun thing to do.
Some was on a wood-chip path and then out and back on a flat road.
Cool-down back to the hotel. Stretch, roll.
