The True Freshmen Test

Comments:
Today we did a super hard workout of 6x6 minutes at threshold pace with one minute standing rest. Also, I did a 1.2 mile warmup and 1.2 mile cool down. Today was a test to see which one of the freshmen would survive the first workout of the year and we couldn't have picked a more brutal workout. The longer the reps, the worse I do, so I struggled but ended up having a good workout overall.

I started off the first 2 reps sticking with BJ and Paolo, but they were going a little too fast for myself. I did the next few reps with Red Cap Jack and Ryan not too far behind. Red Cap Jack ended up getting ahead of me on number 4 and 5 by about 3-5 second with BJ and Paolo about 7 seconds ahead. I never let any of them get out of sight though and I managed to take out Red Cap Jack by a large amount on the last rep. The rest of the freshmen were wayyyyyyyyyyy far back, but props to Red Cap Jack and Ryan for mostly sticking with the top dawgs.

The workout felt painful in the lungs and in my foot. I was having more right foot pain all day and slightly during the workout. I'm icing it as I'm writing this but hopefully it's nothing too serious. Overall despite how it felt, it was a good workout and I look forward to the next one.

Also warning: Some of my splits weren't super accurate, but I'm putting down what I have.
