With a big run planned this weekend, was just curious where my fitness and strength were up to this point. Decided to do a fairly hard - sub-LT effort up K2, recover along the Olmstead Loop, then meet back up with the WS Trail for a moderate push downhill to No Hands.
Surprised myself with a 12:24! The strength is definitely there, I just haven't done much engine-work so the cardio was not where it *will be* come Nov. 4th.
Easy recovery, then had a good descent - holding 6:20-645's on the downhill without feeling like I was pushing it. Good run!
