All About the Slow Game

Comments:
Today's workout was a 2.2 mile warm up, 6x1200m at 5K pace with 3 min jogging rest, and a 2.2 mile cooldown. Initially, my legs felt like shit and my right foot was still hurting, but once we got to Mcdonald Middle School, I felt pretty great throughout the workout. The rain started pouring and RVP workout mode initiated. I started behind Paolo, BJ, and Red Cap Jack, but I worked my way up throughout the workout. By the end of the workout I ended up leading for the first time in a while. It felt pretty nice and cruised pretty hard on the last 2 intervals. Since the workout was on grass, I didn't feel any foot pain. I just felt it once the workout was over and I cooling down back to IM West. So I will have to make a decision to take 2-3 days off, but I'm hoping to get one last 60 mile week before having to do. I'll ice it and massage tonight and see how i feel tomorrow. Better safe than sorry.

But yeah overall super happy with how this workout went and hopefully it's a good indicator of how I'll do at Spartan Invite next week. I
