Holy crap, an 80deg day with no smoke!
At StarbZ, ran the shift this morning - which I enjoy - leading a team toward a goal (elevated customer experience) while having fun doing it (partner connection).
Had some good fam time at home, then for dinner , threw down 3 Hot Dogs! ... Well, 20min later, time to run! By around 6;30-7, it had cooled down into the 70's - perf.
Had in mind to do another barefoot workout - which was $ the first one I did.
Plan: Tempo-Mile-Intervals x4 w/ .25mi rest
Splits: 5:45, 5:45, 5:35, 5:33
Felt pretty good each one - breathing was fine and stride was alright. The grass was a little thick which made things interesting but I took that as a cue to focus on arms and turnover more so. Man, Sept and Oct - it's 100mi crunch time! This is where the training gets fun and hard :)
